デヴィッド・ダストマルチャン

カンザス州出身。奨学金を得てシカゴのデポール大学演劇学校で学ぶ。卒業後はアラスカで漁師、サーカス芸人、劇場の案内係などの職を得ながら劇作家としても活動し、クリストファー・ノーラン監督作「ダークナイト」（08）でジョーカーの手先を演じてスクリーンデビュー。ドゥニ・ビルヌーブ監督作「プリズナーズ」（13）で注目を集める。2014年、自身のヘロイン中毒の経験をもとに脚本を執筆した「Animals」に主演。同作でサウス・バイ・サウスウェスト映画祭（SXSW）の特別審査員賞を受賞した。その後、「或る終焉」（15）、マーベル映画「アントマン」シリーズ（15、18）、ビルヌーブ監督の「ブレードランナー 2049」（17）や「DUNE デューン 砂の惑星」（21）などに出演。「ザ・スーサイド・スクワッド “極”悪党、集結」（21）ではDCコミックのヴィランのひとり、ポルカドットマンを演じた。
