
Juan Felipe Muñoz Posso (Bogotá, 1982 – Bogotá, November 7, 2024) was a Colombian theater and television actor and director. He was born on February 16, 1982, in Bogotá, Colombia. He studied performing arts at the Teatro Nacional de Colombia and later specialized in theatrical improvisation in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He made his acting debut as a guest character in the TV series Padres e hijos and went on to participate in several productions throughout his career, including El Bronx, Alias JJ, and Bloque de búsqueda. He starred in the docuseries Garavito: La bestia serial (2023), directed by José Ángel Montiel and produced by Warner Bros and Caracol Televisión, which recounted the events related to the crimes committed by Luis Alfredo Garavito, considered the most prolific serial killer and child rapist in history. This was his final work. In it, the actor took on a leading role portraying the criminal, a performance that required significant physical transformation and earned him critical acclaim for his acting talent. He was also recognized as an acting coach at the theater company Gimnasio Actoral. On November 7, 2024, he was found dead in his residence in Bogotá. The causes of death were not made public. He was 42 years old.
