Successful programmer Alexander Verbyv returns to his homeland from Canada after a twenty-year absence. The reason for his visit is a letter with no return address from his daughter Maya, whose existence he was previously unaware of. The search for the girl takes place under fatal circumstances, leading Alexander to make the most important decision of his life: to return to Canada or stay in his homeland forever...
